I'm always feeling the school girl vibes for Winter. Presents endless possibilities of mixing and matching and styling with separates. I just love a good chunky shoe with tights, a pleated skirt and a warm sweater. It must be remnants of my brief stint in private school and my absolute obsession with Blair Waldorf when Gossip Girl was at its best fashion wise (season 1, of course). I had no idea Jil Sander had a 'diffusion line' but apparently its been up and running since about 2011? The line maintains Jil Sander architectural but understated aesthetic with clean silhouettes but with lower price points (still the most expensive item is $1000, definitely not for a school girl haha or even a nearly out of uni girl) and a touting slightly more casual, sport luxe dimension. The pieces are just so clean and have such nice, sleek lines it makes me wanna brush my hair like 100 times. The pop of the tangerine orange and turquoise green is a lovely way to break up the dark navy and greys for Winter too! Here's a Polyvore set I put together inspired by the collection, follow me!
